The King Alfred multipurpose sports arena concept with world class facilities would include an Olympic size competition pool, diving boards, family fun pool, an ice rink, basketball court, stage for concerts and much more.

This is currently the site of the King Alfred Leisure Centre in Hove.

A solution to the city’s lack of facilities is an all in one arena that could become home to the Brighton Tigers, Brighton Bears not forgetting Shivers Swimming Club.

It has the potential to become a top national venue and destination for championships, competitions and shows.

With Hove Station and Hove Bus Depot only five minutes from the King Alfred location, it already has the perfect infrastructure firmly in place for this venture and would be a huge asset to the city of Brighton & Hove.
